I'm a Chaparral lover from Spain. For me, Mr Hall was one of all time's most innovative sports cars builder. Their white cars are superb, magnificent and impressive. Thanks to Jim Hall for made this brilliant page in racing history.

Hello Jim Hall and The Chapparal Company. I am wondering if Mr. Hall signs books? I have a copy of an out of print book entitled "Americans at Le Mans" So far I have it signed by Phil Hill and Carroll Shelby. I am wondering what guidelines you might have for this type of thing? I can send it with a Fedex box and pre-paid slip. Also I will be at the Monterey Historics next month if Mr. Hall will be signing books there. Thanks from a big admirer!

It does me good to look back on the days of the old trans am races. I just wish i had the money build a camaro like that. I met JIM HALL at midohio one time. My brother raced in trans am for two years. His name was RON KIRBY.Not a lot of money but we had fun. Thank you for the cars and good times

I MISS the Chaparral. The first (and ONLY) time I saw them race in person was at Greenwood Roadway in Iowa (1964?). I miss the marque in racing -- and I wish I could drive one just once. That has been my dream since 1964.

Would you know of a company that has a windshield and topexhaust pipes for a Monogram Chaparral set car?

Always my favorites as a kid. I can still see the Chaparrals as if it was yesterday. I do remember seeing a great program about the Chaparrals on Speedvision, back when Speedvision was dedicated to true enthusiasts. The program was about finding a Chaparral in pieces in the desert? This site will be visited every day I turn the computer on. BTW, I am a 50 year old advanced composites boatbuilder who desperately needs to build race cars.

As a teen I became a huge fan of Jim Hall and Chaparral cars. Group 7 racing was a obsession, I've never seen the likes of those cars since! But, I must confess the endurance program REALLY thrilled the poop outta me. Thru the years I have always remembered the innovation that Jim and Co. exhibited and have strived to "think outside the box" as a result. Thank you very much for being a hero to me. I'm a better man because of it.

When I was in my teens I was fascinated by the styling and beauty of the Chaparral. I built a couple of scale models as well as the Cox slot racing kit. The Chaparral continues to be my all time favorite car of motorsports. Congratulations on the museum! Keep up the fine work in preserving such an important contribution to race car design. I plan on paying a visit to the museum in the near future.
